When presenting ideas to an audience, if you cannot get them sufficiently excited about those ideas to act upon them, then your presentation will be greeted with a shrug of the shoulders and little else.  This applies whether you are presenting new business opportunities to large funding bodies or the latest strategic plan to your own small team.

Certainly, within your business the ‘command and control’ method of management can work in certain cases, but if your people are motivated to complete a task, then it is likely to be done more efficiently than if they are doing it ‘because the Boss said so!’
